Students recently traveled to YSU on Thursday 23, 2026, to participate in the Forty-Ninth annual English Festival. Prior to gathering at YSU students read titles, when students arrived they were tested on these books by doing activities like writing games, connections, insights and impromptu writing. Students even won awards and those students are Logan A. 3rd place in Journalism Workshop, Mackenzie M. 3rd Place in Connections, Cali M. and Giada M. received an honorable mention in writing games.
