Introducing… Micah Dach! Micah Dach is a local 4H gun shooter. 4H is a youth development program where it teaches kids how to care and raise animals, and public speaking. They also work on community service projects, and participate in club leadership roles. There’s opportunities to learn how to cook, bake and do engineering projects. Usually 4H starts in January and ends in May. Throughout the summer there’s hunting and activities involving wildlife. How did Micah get into 4H shooting? Well, Micah’s dad has participated in shooting his whole life, and Micah found she also liked the idea of shooting and decided she wanted to join. At the club there are opportunities to shoot shotguns, pistols, rifles, archery and muzzle loaders which are guns they used in the American Revolution: Micah shoots rifles and muzzle loaders! If you’re interested, a good place to start in talking to Micah; she will give you all the ideas and the best advice.
