  • NMS Locker Clean Outs Will Be On Tuesday, May 19th. The Last Day Of School Will Be On Wednesday, May 20th. We Will Have GREAT JOBS Prizes That Day And The Student Council Will Host An 8th Grade Breakfast In The Cafetorium That Morning.
  • NMS Will Host Summer School For Students Who Need Intervention To Be Assigned To The Next Grade Level On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, And Thursdays From May 26th-June 11th.

Which event(s) do you run: I do shotput and discus

What does team work mean to you: Cheering for people and showing up to your friends’ events.

What is your favorite part about track: Hanging out with friends and having fun. 

What are your strengths in track: Throwing shotput and discus

Why did you choose to do this sport: I chose this sport because I wanted to try something new.

What is the hardest workout the coach makes you do: 30 20 10’s

What is your goal for this season: To be top 3 for throwing 

Have you ever faced a challenge in track? If so how did you overcome this problem: Throwing a discus and overcoming this problem by practicing everyday.

What is the funniest thing (If you want to) that has happened to you during track: The funniest thing that I have done this year was throw a discus on the concrete.

What advice would you give to anyone who wants to run track also: I would tell them that it is hard at first but when you practice more it gets easier.
