  • The NMS Talent Show Will Be Held In The Afternoon On Friday, May 15th.
  • There Will Be An NMS Football Meeting In The Cafetorium On Friday, May 15th At 6:30 p.m.
  • The WEB Picnic Will Be On Tuesday, May 19th. The Lead For Change Spirit Rally Will Be Held That Afternoon In The NMS Gym. The 8th Grade Academic Sports Banquet Will Be Held At Ciminero’s In Niles That Evening Starting At 6:00 p.m.
  • NMS Locker Clean Outs Will Be On Tuesday, May 19th. The Last Day Of School Will Be On Wednesday, May 20th. We Will Have GREAT JOBS Prizes That Day And The Student Council Will Host An 8th Grade Breakfast In The Cafetorium That Morning.
  • NMS Will Host Summer School For Students Who Need Intervention To Be Assigned To The Next Grade Level On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, And Thursdays From May 26th-June 11th.

Making History; Note by Note

A big congratulations to the band students who participated in OMEA District Five solo and ensemble competition, held at Champion High School on Saturday, March 28 in which they were under the direction of Mr. Stephen Orlando and Mrs. Charissa Broennle . Performances include solos by Oakland G. (Trumpet solo) Sophia C. (Tuba solo) Logan A. (Bari Sax solo) and Ally R. (Clarinet solo). All solos earned the highest rank, Superior. Ensemble performances include a trumpet duet (Oakland G. and Clarissa M.) and a saxophone duet (Paelyn R. and Logan A.). Both duets earning the Superior rank. The clarinet quartet (Koriana S., Carter H., Ally R., and Kya C.) earned the Excellent ranking. Great job, band students! We’re so proud of you, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the future!
