Why did you decide to become a basketball coach? The love of the game
What impact do you hope to have on your players beyond their time on the team? Sometimes it is incredibly tough to fully have a lasting impact if you were only around for a few months. If nothing else, I want to try and impact each player’s confidence. I want them to realize that on the court and in their own lives, they are all that and then some.
What is your favorite part of coaching this team? Easily my favorite part of coaching this team is interacting with the players. This eighth grade team has a group of girls who are just incredibly cool.
What are you most excited about for the upcoming season? I am excited to see the team compete. I am also excited about sitting on the bus with our squad and going to Girard, Howland, Poland, ect. With the plan of ruining the other team’s day.
Do you see yourself continuing to coach basketball in the future? Yes, I’ll be back.
