Let’s go back in time to when our now eighth graders were once sixth graders. If you remember, we had a guest speaker Catherine Bosley in May of 2024. Ms. Bosley is an informational speaker who is from our area; she travels across the country talking about her terrible experience across social media. She speaks about a picture of her that was leaked and spread all over the internet. That’s why she calls her program Forever And For All To See. Ms. Bosley also went to court to gain legal rights to the photos that were unlawfully used against her. She eventually gained the rights back and earned her dream job back; which was a news broadcaster. Ms. Bosley was very factual and gave the truth about what she experienced. She really was an eye opener for some students out there who don’t understand the severity of their actions online. We really appreciated her coming to NMS; she really hit home before we hit send!
