We would like to wish our own Mrs. Burke and Mrs. Walters a happy retirement. 

It will not be the same without them here, being that they’ve been here for thirty years. They have accomplished so much here at NMS. Being teachers during the day and coaches at night, makes them sound like Batman. Mrs. Burke coached a team to third in the world, and of course you have Mrs. Walters coaching the drama club. You can’t deny the fact that these two women have touched many many souls, including our eighth grade staff writers. We all wish you the best in your new chapter of retirement, hoping it comes with a lot of warm days. Next year won’t be the same without the two “partners in crime”, but just know everyone here loves you.
