A few weeks ago, seventh graders in Mrs. Breegle’s class got the chance to build roller coasters as a part of their energy unit! This one day project covered gravitational potential energy, kinetic energy and potential energy. Students were given a pool noodle as the track and a marble as the cart. They began to build up their track seeing how many loops they could make without their marble falling off the track. Whoever had the best roller coaster received a homework pass!
