This month, our seventh and eighth grade NMS Basketball Teams received the privilege to go see the beloved, Youngstown Penguins Mens Basketball Team play against Penn State-Shenago. Athletes from the teams left during school day to see the game, and arrived back before the school day ended. At the game, players got to see the game close-up, eat yummy snacks from the concession stand, and take note of what some of the advanced players do in person. YSU took the win, with a final score of 112-63.  Overall, this was a great opportunity for the teams to watch some local “hoops” and have a great time.
