Hello and welcome to Fish Fact Friday. If you’re new, I’m Fishman, aka Nicolas Logan, and if you didn’t know, I AM OBSESSED WITH FISH! This week’s fish is the Barracuda. The Barracuda is a snake-like fish that can grow up to 5.6 feet and can have bursts of speed up to 36 mph. They live in tropical and subtropical regions world-wide, like the Great Barrier Reef, for example. They use their speed to run down and ambush smaller fish. An interesting fact about barracudas is they are attracted to shiny things, likely due to their prey’s scales being shiny.
