Hello and welcome to Fish Fact Friday. If you’re new, I’m Fishman aka Nicolas Logan and if you didn’t know I AM OBSESSED WITH FISH! This week’s fish is the Hammerhead Shark. It is a predator that eats many smaller fish and Cephalopods, but they love rays like stingrays the most. They live in tropic and subtropical regions, usually staying relatively close to the coast. Now, onto the tool shape appendage in the room, the primary use for their hammer is used to give them 360 degree vision. It also allows them to turn on a dime and enhances their electromagnetic receptors, which allows them to detect the natural electric field generated by other creatures.
