Do you know what makes me happy walking into NMS? It’s the Totem Pole artwork from Ms. Newman’s classes.

It has been years since our students’ artwork has been put on display, and I’m sure everyone can appreciate how aesthetically appealing our window ledge looks.

Last spring, Ms. Newman asked teachers to donate plastic water bottles and jugs, and none of us really knew what it was going to be used for. Well, now we know. Some of the artwork displayed really shows the time and effort put forth designing, cutting, plastering, painting, and some even thematic.

Thanks Ms. Newman and students for making me smile every time I walk down the steps. I can’t wait to see what you plan next.
