I know fellow students that there are days you just want to stay in bed, forget your troubles, and go back to sleep. BUT….we here at NMS want you to be here everyday and we are willing to reward you for it. By we, I mean NMS and the one and only CLEVELAND BROWNS! Stay in the Game is a program the Cleveland Browns created to try to prevent students from being chronically absent and spreading awareness about absenteeism. Chronically absent students in Ohio are 89% less likely to graduate on time from high school. — Ohio Department of Education
Let’s cut to the chase; what are we getting for this? Some of the prizes that will be given out are tickets to an actual SUNDAY Browns game , water bottles, t-shirts, and folders. Tickets will be handed out for four games this season. Also, one lucky winner will get a FIELD TICKET, and another lucky person will get to go to the big, AWESOME, Browns vs. Steelers game in November! The prizes will be handed out at the end of the nine weeks. We are halfway there so make sure you don’t mess it up if you’re close to 100% attendance. If you win, you will get tickets for you and a parent or guardian so they are able to take you to the game. And if you’re wondering, “Hmm, I wonder what will happen when the season is over?” Well, you’re in luck because you will still get a prize which will be bowling with the principals! We know that’s not as spectacular as an NFL game, but it is something!
