What is your wife’s name? : Cathy

How many kids do you have? : 2 daughters, Macey and Anna

Do you have any pets? : I have a cat named Moose

How did you spend your summer?  Running, biking, and spending time with my family.

What is your favorite TV series and movie? : My favorite TV series is Seinfeld and my favorite movie is Gladiator.

What is your favorite song and artist? : My Favorite song is Under Pressure. My favorite artist is David Bowie.

What is your favorite thing to do? (not running) : Spending time with my wife and kids

What is your favorite food? : Pizza

As a teacher, what is your favorite part about it? :Seeing the progress of my students.

Have you always wanted to be a teacher? : No, I had various jobs when I was younger, but they weren’t rewarding.

When did you find your passion for running? : I started to really like running in my mid- 40s. (I’m 54 now)

How many marathons have you run? : I’ve run 26 marathons

What advice would you give to any of your students from your life experiences? : That life is not a spectator sport. Find something you enjoy and get after it.

What advice would you give to any aspiring athletes? : To get out of your comfort zone. This is where the magic happens.
